A Trace of Me

A Trace of Me

In 2015 and 2016, ice&fire delivered an artistic residency at mental health charity Room to Heal. A group of six met fortnightly to explore the therapeutic potential of creative expression and to carefully build the basis of a public-facing performance presented by the group. In June 2016,  A Trace of Mewas performed at the British Library to a capacity audience.  It was also performed at Room to Heal’s annual summer party.

Some feedback from the participants
I fell in love with the project when you came in with this. For me, I was looking for something to hold onto.

I have been really impressed at how we can transform painful stories to at and performance

It brought back my confidence and it made me have eye contact with people I’m talking with
