The Sex Ed Musical

A new verbatim musical for teenagers about all things sex and relationships

Toured UK secondary schools in London, the South East, the Midlands and the North West October 30-Nov 24 2023

Two public performances took place on Monday November 20 @ 4:30 and 7:30. St Margaret’s House, Bethnal Green, London.

‘So …. What was your experience of sex education?’

Over 2 years, we went all over the UK and had conversations with people aged 14 – 24 who wanted to share their lived experience of sex and relationships. From different places, different backgrounds, ethnicities, religions. Different gender identities, sexualities, neurodiversities and disabilities.

Isla van Tricht and Guy Woolf have transformed these fascinating, illuminating and often hilarious conversations into a brand spanking new musical which explores what is on the minds of young people today when it comes to sex and relationships.

‘Dear younger me: You really will learn that you don’t have to pretend and that being yourself is absolutely fine’
